The folks over at Knowledge Resources put together a really great conference. The Kid & Teen Republic Conference 2008 was held at the Balalaika in Sandton on the 21st of August. Unfortunately, I couldn’t attend the entire event so I quickly popped in to do my presentation.
I spoke about engaging the youth through social and mobile media. A few slides might seem familiar, they were just too good not to re-use. I decided not to use any case studies, but talk about concepts and give the audience things to visualise, particularly for their own brands.
My focus for this presentation was mobile. Naturally because I am involved in a few mobile projects myself, but also because I do believe that it has always been the next big thing. I spoke about 5 mobile trends that I believe are growing and will be dominant in time to come. I will elaborate on them in due time.
